UCL club believe they will sign 'fantastic' Man City player but are delaying announcement for…

In the next couple of weeks, Manchester City will seemingly come to final decisions about the make-up of their squad ahead of next season.

With Pep Guardiola dissatisfied about Manchester City’s squad size, it is imperative for the club to meet the Catalan’s public demand.

Manchester City aim to keep Nico O’Reilly, despite the player himself holding talks with clubs in the Premier League and the Bundesliga.

However, Jack Grealish could leave the Etihad Stadium after being omitted from City’s 27-man squad for the FIFA Club World Cup squad.

On Yeni Acik’s YouTube channel, journalist Yakup Çınar revealed that Galatasaray are confident they will sign the Brazilian, paying him a salary of about €8 million to €10 million (£6.9 million to £10.9 million), reporting: “Ederson is the goalkeeper candidate Galatasaray have been working on for the last 10 days. In my opinion, Ederson is the top goalkeeper candidate, but there’s been a €25 million offer for the player from Saudi Arabia. However, neither he nor his family are keen on going to Saudi Arabia. He wants €15 million (£12.9 million) from Galatasaray. Galatasaray expects to finalise this transfer in the €8-10 million range.”

Furthermore, Galatasaray believe they will sign Ederson, who Alisson Becker called “fantastic” but they will only announce the move once they strike a deal to sign Victor Osimhen, saying: “According to information I’ve received from Galatasaray officials, the goalkeeper transfer is complete.”

“But they’re not informing anyone to avoid disrupting the process. They’ll make the announcement before the Osimhen transfer. It’s been reported that the Osimhen process will take time, so it will be announced before the Osimhen transfer.”

Ruben Amorim wants to sign Man City’s Ederson replacement

It was reported that Diogo Costa had agreed to join Manchester City but Ederson confirmed his stay in England before being linked with a move to Galatasaray.

Manchester City admire Porto goalkeeper Costa and they will try to secure his services if the Sky Blues legend leaves but Ruben Amorim has instructed Manchester United to sign him.

From City’s standpoint, they will hoping Ederson’s future is finalised as soon as possible before it is too late for them to sign a top-class player to potentially replace him.
