The Pittsburgh Steelers made a lot of moves this offseason, and Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss expects them to pay off.
Moss is a huge fan of the Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf pairing, who he expects to help each other out.
“I think when you look at the wide receiver [position] … think a guy that’s going to have a phenomenal year. I look for a big year out of Pittsburgh,” Moss said. “Because of Aaron Rodgers. I look for a big year out of Aaron Rodgers and the reason why? A guy like DK Metcalf. I’m excited about D. in Pittsburgh … excited about Aaron, and that defense with Tomlin."
Along with Metcalf and Rodgers, the Steelers have notably added cornerbacks Darius Slay and Jalen Ramsey, highlighting a refurbished secondary. On top of that, the Steelers added Jonnu Smith, a playmaking tight end with ties to offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, to add weaponry for Rodgers.
Those moves, along with the existing stars the Steelers already have on the roster, should propel them to relevance this season, but it will only be considered a positive season if the Steelers can parley the moves into postseason success.
The Steelers have not won a playoff game since 2017 despite shuffling the deck over the past eight seasons. This year, the team made an effort to add talent with the vision of finding postseason success.
