Harrison Armstrong might be a little alarmed at the fresh transfer development coming out of…

Everton have a plethora of exciting youngsters coming through their ranks.

16-year-old Justin Clarke impressed for Everton last night as they played their first pre-season friendly against Accrington Stanley.

Clarke came on just after the hour mark and was really direct, with some Everton fans certain he can make an impact in the first team this season.

Isaac Heath caught David Moyes’ eye, too, and he won the penalty in the second half, which Beto converted.

After his excellent loan spell at Derby County, it was good to see Harrison Armstrong in action for the Toffees, and he looked like a seasoned veteran.

Harrison Armstrong will be hopeful of getting regular game time in the Premier League, however, he must be a little worried after hearing Moyes’ transfer plans.

Harrison Armstrong might be worried after hearing Everton transfer development

Everton are about to submit a bid for Tomas Soucek, who has been considering his West Ham United future for months.

Moyes and his chiefs are preparing an offer in the region of £12m, which is believed to match West Ham’s price tag.

There is confidence that a deal will be completed, making Soucek Moyes’ third signing of the summer window.

That may worry Armstrong, as it will surely put him further back in the pecking order given their profiles are very similar.

Moyes was initially considering sending Armstrong out on loan again, so perhaps a move to the Championship beckons in the coming weeks.

Working hard to keep learning and building. 💪

If Armstrong is just a third-choice option behind the likes of Carlos Alcaraz and Soucek, then the club should allow him to depart.

The 19-year-old came on leaps and bounds at Derby, so it’s so important at this stage of his career to continue playing men’s football regularly.

It’s unlikely he’ll get a Premier League move, and Everton probably wouldn’t want that either, so a top-end Championship club should be his next destination.

Southampton and Leicester City are both expected to have promotion pushes, and their values are centred around developing young players.

Perhaps they could be an option, but either way, whatever decision they make with Armstrong, it must involve regular starting opportunities.
