We are forced once again to interrupt [Bills Week](https://defector.com/category/bills-week) in order to bring an important matter to your attention: Defector is adding the _Nothing But Respect_ basketball podcast to its robust and ever-growing portfolio of media offerings.
For those of you who are not familiar with _Nothing But Respect_, it is a weekly basketball podcast hosted by Defector staff writer Patrick Redford and friend-of-Defector Harry Krinsky. If you are under the impression that the closeness of Defector's relationship to Patrick and Harry made this acquisition a simple matter, think again: Patrick spent the first six weeks of the negotiation process asking for "points on the back end" without ever explaining what that meant.
But that is neither here nor there. What's important for you to know is that _Nothing But Respect_ will now live on Defector, in partnership with our good friends at Multitude, who help bring you _The Distraction_ every week. You will be welcome to join Patrick, Harry, and various guests each week as they discuss all things basketball. If you're a WNBA fan, you'll be excited to hear that Maitreyi Anantharaman will be a regular contributor.
