Report: Wolves learn Jhon Arias' asking price as Fluminense's intention for their game tomorrow …

Jhon Arias to Wolves has frustratingly turned into a bit of a saga.

On Monday, it appeared as though Wolves had made a breakthrough to sign Arias and make him their second addition of the summer.

Several top journalists reported the news.

But Arias’ proposed move to Wolves is not as advanced as first thought, with an agreement yet to be reached.

Arias wants to join Wolves and is willing to reduce his salary to make it happen.

But Fluminense are currently trying to increase their ownership of Arias, with his former club Patriotas owning 50% of the player’s rights at the moment.

So it has been stalling, and now, Fluminense have a game coming up against Cruzeiro.

Fluminense intend to include Jhon Arias against Cruzeiro, amid Wolves saga

It has been claimed by Globo Esporte that Fluminense intend to name Arias as part of their matchday squad to face Cruzeiro.

The game takes place tomorrow night, and the Brazilian outfit want him to play should there be no major developments.

Globo say that Arias has been training as normal with the team while all the Wolves talk has been going on, and has remained professional.

The only way he would not play in tomorrow night’s game is if a contract is signed, or if something unforeseen happens.

There is also word from Globo regarding how much money Fluminense want for Arias, after Wolves’ first proposal on Monday was rejected.

It is claimed that Fluminense are now trying to increase Wolves’ total proposal to more than £17 million.

Furthermore, Fluminense are also after inserting a sell-on clause.

Globo say they want 10% of any future fee that Arias leaves Wolves for.

Ideally, Wolves will be able to make progress with Fluminense and Arias in the coming days, with pre-season now underway.
