**Liverpool may publicly say that they are unwilling to sell Luis Diaz but it does seem more and more as though that’s just a facade to unearth as big a bid for the Colombian as possible.**
The Reds are acting like champions as they move about the transfer window with authority and without hesitation. Having already signed Wirtz, Kerkez, Frimpong and Mamardashvili, Liverpool are now looking to add Alexander Isak to the mix.
Of course, that will cost over £120m in all likelihood.
Yet, Liverpool aren’t spending foolishly either because they are certain they will be able to earn significant sums from player sales.
Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez will generate a decent sum of money that can be used to settle the books this summer.
Now, it appears as though the best bet for Liverpool would be to sell Diaz to a Saudi club.

Journalist David Lynch reports that Diaz wants to remain in Europe should he leave Liverpool this summer which is more than understandable.
At 28, Diaz still has plenty to offer top clubs even if Liverpool aren’t willing to extend his contract.
“It’s felt like all along in this story really that the likeliest club to put up the correct money to force Liverpool to sell would be Al Nassr,” Lynch told the Sports Mole [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/@SportsMoleVideo/videos) channel.
“But I get the impression that the player would much prefer to stay in Europe, if possible, rather than go to Saudi at this moment.
“I just think Al Nassr would have come in with a bid by now if not and the fact we are still seeing this interest from European giants, I think that says a lot about the preference of the player.”
