Bournemouth have announced the signing of goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic from Premier League rivals Chelsea.
He joins the south coast club for a reported fee of around £25 million.
The 25-year-old Serbian international began his career at Čukarički, coming through their academy. He joined New England Revolution in 2022, where he made over 40 appearances.
He moved to Chelsea in 2023, featuring more than 20 times. Last season, he spent time on loan at Strasbourg, helping them qualify for the Europa Conference League.
He spoke to the club website about the move: “I’m really happy to be here. I came to Bournemouth because I want to grow, and I want to play at the best level."
"Together with this club, with these facilities, I think we can achieve it.
"I want to help the team get the results, improve every day and be a better player.”
He has signed a five-year deal.
