A key aspect of Daniel Farke’s tactics was wingplay. The fullbacks and wingers combined to create an attacking threat that cut through almost every defensive. Outside Joel Piroe last season, the club’s most productive players infront of goal were the wingers and the fullbacks.

Jayden Bogle and Junior Firpo often bombed into the box, and ended up scoring or assisting. The cast of wide players Leeds had terrorized opponent defences in the league all season. But unfortunately, Leeds will be without Manor Solomon next season. The winger has returned to his parent club Spurs.
It looks very unlikely that the club pursue a move for Solomon, who could be part of the London club’s plans for next season.

Largie Ramazanie, Wilfried Gnonto and Dan James are currently the only senior players that primarily operate as wingers. Out of the three stars, only two have experience in the Premier League.
Which has lead many to wonder if the club would add another attacker. Sources say Leeds will be patient in their search for a new center forward with the current free agents on the market. But the club was also linked with West Brom’s Tom Fellows, which showed that they could be interested in signing a winger.

On Wednesday night, Graham Smyth reported that Leeds have contacted Igor Paixao’s representatives over a move. The Brazilian has been on the radar of the club over the last few months, but nothing concrete had progressed. Now, there seems to be traction over a possible move.

Igor Paixao would be a quality signing
Paixao is one of the more exciting attacking prospects in Europe. He has set the Eredivisie alight, last season, he had 16 goals and 10 assists.

Aside the production, his all round game is very polished. He can progress the ball outwide, and his dribbling causes a headache for defenders. The fee could be a stumbling block, but Leeds should take the opportunity to sign the Brazilian if it is available.
