Leeds United’s interest in Feyenoord winger Igor Paixao has intensified this week with the club’s representatives meeting up with the Brazilian’s entourage.
Leeds’ transfer business has seriously ignited in the past few days with an agreement in place to sign Sean Longstaff from Newcastle United.
On top of that, Anton Stach from Hoffenheim has agreed personal terms, with Leeds now looking to jumpstart their transfer window after a brief lull.

Igor Paixao interest reignites as Leeds United make new proposal to Feyenoord star
Very early in the summer, Leeds were linked with a move to sign Feyenoord’s star winger Igor Paixao, who has recently suffered an injury setback during pre-season for the Dutch club.
Despite this blow for the Brazilian, the YEP’s Graham Smyth has now reported that Leeds have provided a presentation for the 24-year-old.

It is claimed that the winger is one of the options that the club have discussed a potential move to Elland Road with.
Paixao’s 18 goals and 19 assists in the 24/25 season have also seen him become a key target for Marseille too, but Leeds look to be sensing an opportunity to strike.
Igor Paixao could be a monumental coup for Leeds United
Leeds are yet to make a serious statement signing this summer, despite shrewd coups across the board with the four confirmed additions.
Stach would change that, but Paixao would be the sort of signing to make the rest of the division take note of Leeds’ intentions.
His injury in pre-season isn’t ideal, but perhaps that’s a reason for why he’s suddenly become more of a viable target for Leeds, as opposed to potentially scuppering any interest.
