SPRNGFIELD, Mass. (WFSB) - The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced four additions to its “Hoophall Hangouts” appearances as a part of its “Summer at The Hall” programming series. Programming additions include appearances from former NBA and WNBA players, television personalities, and Hall of Fame Inductee’s.
Hall of Fame Class of 2025 Inductee Sylvia Fowles is scheduled to appear July 22nd at 1PM Virtually. Fowles is a two-time WNBA Champion with the Minnesota Lynx and four-time Olympic Gold Medalist.
Adrian Wojnarowski, St. Bonaventure University Men’s Basketball General Manager, and, Former ESPN NBA Insider, will appear in person on August 5th at 1PM.
Journalist and College Basketball analyst Andy Katz is scheduled on August 7th at 1PM for an in-person appearance. Katz has been featured on ESPN, TNT Sports, NCAA, and the Big Ten Network.
Ann Meyers-Drysdale rounds out the new appearances on August 12th at 1PM in person. The 1993 Hall of Famer is the first and only women to be signed to an NBA contract and is currently a broadcaster for the Phoenix Mercury.
“We’re thrilled to build on the momentum of ‘Summer at The Hall’ with more ways for our visitors to connect with the game in its many facets,” said John Doleva, President and CEO of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. “Our Summer is filled with ‘Hoophall Hangouts’, youth skills clinics, and entertaining performances designed to educate and inspire all age groups and fans of the game.”
This summer’s programming has featured appearances from Class of 2024 Hall of Famer Michael Cooper, incoming Hall of Fame Class of 2025 Inductee Coach Billy Donovan, a book signing with University of Kansas Jayhawks broadcaster Brian Hanni.
Summer Programming events will be held on the Hall of Fame’s “Jerry Colangelo Court of Dreams” and are included with general museum admission.
