With Arsenal set to fly out for their pre-season tour of Asia on Saturday, talks over Reiss Nelson’s future are gathering pace. Fulham have now entered the picture and approached Arsenal over a potential loan deal, while Crystal Palace remain long-term admirers of the Hale End graduate.
Arsenal’s stance is clear. They prefer a permanent exit or at least a loan with an obligation or option to buy. Nelson is under contract until 2027, but the club are prepared to cash in if their £20 million valuation is met.

Fulham have made direct contact with Arsenal to bring Nelson back to Craven Cottage. The winger previously spent time on loan there as a teenager and is said to be open to returning. However, Arsenal would rather structure a deal that allows them to offload him permanently, especially with summer spending still to come.
The Gunners have already made progress on several fronts and clearing Nelson’s wages off the books would offer more flexibility. Fulham, for their part, are actively looking for attacking reinforcements as they prepare for another season of consolidation under Marco Silva.
Palace still in the mix

Crystal Palace have held an interest in Nelson since before Michael Olise’s departure to Bayern Munich. While their focus has shifted towards replacing the Frenchman with a marquee signing, Nelson remains a credible target to slot into that right-sided role.
The 24-year-old would provide Premier League experience and positional versatility, something Palace value highly. Whether they’re willing to match Arsenal’s asking price is less clear, but the South London club are keeping tabs on the situation.
Final thoughts
There is also interest from Sunderland and Bournemouth in his signatures. And if Arsenal can move Reiss Nelson on before Saturday’s tour departure, it would tidy up one piece of unfinished business and open the door for incoming deals. Fulham’s interest gives the winger a soft landing in familiar surroundings, but Arsenal’s desire for a sale could shift negotiations. Either way, there’s a good chance Nelson’s next step becomes official in the coming days.
