NFL Draft’s economic impact higher than projected

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Results of a study on the economic impact the 2025 NFL Draft had on the greater Green Bay area were released Wednesday.

Experience Greater Green Bay provides tourism research and education for Brown County. It commissioned a sports consulting expert to help with the study.

The 46-page study was released after the formal announcement at the Discover Green Bay visitor center, featuring speakers from the Green Bay Packers organization and Experience Greater Green Bay.

Speakers at the announcement disclosed the total impact in Brown County from the Draft was $72.9 million - it was projected to be $20 million. The Green Bay area saw 362,000 visitors from the NFL Draft.

The state impact was $104.7 million, higher than the $94 million that was projected.
