A camp sleeper last year, Davidson despite being behind three entrenched tight ends in Dawson Knox, Dalton Kincaid, and Quintin Morris, showed enough to make the practice squad, and was called up midseason and made his first career NFL reception. The deck is still stacked against him with fifth-round pick, Jackson Hawes, added to the mix to do a lot of the dirty work at the position. Davidson has to continue to diversify his game, so the rest of his skill set meets his high-end pass catching ability. That will give him his best chance to crack the 53-man roster out of camp.
