New Orleans Saints legend Drew Brees is getting another shot as a TV analyst after spending one season at NBC following his NFL retirement in 2021.
Brees will serve as a game analyst for Netflix on Christmas Day, Andrew Marchand of The Athletic reported Thursday.
According to the report, Brees will be on the domestic broadcast for either the Dallas Cowboys-Washington Commanders contest or the game featuring the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings.
Nate Burleson, who works for CBS, will return as an analyst after working for Netflix a year ago.
Brees is filling a gap created by the major networks' reluctance to loan out some of their top talent as analysts for Netflix, Marchand reports.
The 46-year-old Brees led the Saints to the Super Bowl XLIV title. He threw for 80,358 yards, 571 touchdowns and 243 touchdowns during his NFL career.
