Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh, along with his brother John, who himself is the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens, recently met with the 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump, in the White House.
When the news broke, not much was revealed about what the conversation centered on. Now, Jim himself has shed some light on a little of what was discussed during the private meeting.
“Chargers HC Jim Harbaugh says President Trump asked about the weapons they were putting around Justin Herbert,” reported Chargers insider Alex Insdorf.
Fans reacted to the revelation on social media.
“Trump then said ‘Minter’s defense shuts down any offense just like I shut down the Epstein investigation,'” one fan joked on Twitter, referencing the way Trump’s administration has decided not to release the private files concerning Jeffrey Epstein.
“I bet Donald will be eyeing Jesse Minter to defend the border, lol,” someone else added.
“Did he ask him why QJ drops every pass just like Trump failed to drop the Epstein files?” one person wanted to know.
“The idea that trump would have a sports opinion beyond “look at our beautiful boys” is laughable,” another person added.
Hopefully, details of what went down in the meeting continue to emerge.
