The Los Angeles Chargers today signed wide receiver Tre' Harris (selected No. 55 overall).
Harris capped his Mississippi career in 2024 by leading the team in receptions (60) and receiving yards (1,030), while ranking second in receiving touchdowns (seven). He was a second-team All-America selection by The Associated Press and a consensus All-Southeastern Conference selection after averaging 128.8 yards in his eight games played, the highest receiving yards per game average in the country in 2024. Five of Harris' 10 career 100-yard receiving performances came last season, helping the Rebels to a 10-3 record.
The Lafayette, La., native started 19-of-20 games played over two seasons at Mississippi (2023-24), totaling 2,015 yards and 15 touchdowns on 114 catches (17.7 avg.). He posted 100.8 receiving yards per game over his Rebels career, becoming just the second player in SEC history to do so. Harris transferred to Ole Miss after three years at Louisiana Tech (2020-22). He was a first-team All-Conference USA in his final season for the Bulldogs, catching 66 passes for 954 yards (14.5 avg.) and 10 touchdowns.
