As per journalist Ben Jacobs, the North London club has submitted a stronger offer than Liverpool. So, that puts them firmly in the lead to land the promising striker.

Wright has turned heads across England with his impressive performances at youth level. He has already scored over 50 goals across all competitions last season. He carried that form into pre-season, bagging four goals in just three matches. That also includes a brace against FC United of Manchester.
Even at his young age, the player has already played at senior level twice, both in League Two and the FA Cup. Those games include his debut against Manchester City in a tough 8-0 loss back in January.
Liverpool had shown strong interest in the young forward. But, talks over the past few days have reportedly cooled after Arsenal raised the stakes with a better bid. Mikel Arteta is looking to add long-term firepower to his squad. Wright fits the profile of a player who can develop under the club’s project. The Gunners see him as one for the future. They are clearly eager to sign him before another top side does.
