Tottenham are set to challenge the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal in the race for AC Milan-linked midfielder Ardon Jashari.
According to TBR, Ardan Jashari is a player that Tottenham admire and are ready to take advantage of his recent transfer situation. The Swiss midfielder has been likened to Declan Rice, as Spurs look to beat Arsenal and Manchester City for the Club Brugge star.
The name Ardon Jashari has been doing the rounds in the transfer circles for several weeks now. AC Milan have been chasing the midfielder since the start of the window, although they have not managed to agree on a fee with Club Brugge for the Swiss star.
Milan’s latest offer amounted to £32 million, and if they cannot agree the move with Club Brugge, the Rossoneri might move on. A few Premier League sides are already looking to make their move for the 22-year-old midfielder from Belgian club, with Tottenham and Nottingham Forest named as suitors.
Sticking with Spurs, Thomas Frank wants a new presence in his midfield, with Jashari, likened to Declan Rice, could be the ideal choice. Tottenham have been linked with Adam Wharton recently, as they are prepared to let go of Yves Bissouma if the right offer arrives.
Meanwhile, Spurs are not alone, as Arsenal and Manchester City have heavily scouted the midfielder in the past. However, those two giants do not particularly need midfield reinforcements, having already done their work in the transfer window to strengthen that position.
