Former Boston College stars Donovan Ezeiruaku and Ozzy Trapilo have signed their NFL rookie deals. Ezeiruaku, who was drafted in the second round by the Dallas Cowboys inked a four-year deal worth $10.1 million, with approximately 84.5 percent guaranteed According to theDallas Morning News.
Ezeiruaku's first three years are fully guaranteed, while the final year of his deal is 38 percent guaranteed. Ezeiruaku will be the second EDGE/OLB most likely starting opposite Micah Parsons. Last season Ezeiruaku led college football with 16.5 sacks in the regular season.
Trapilo, who was also drafted in the second round, by the Chicago Bears will be getting paid as well. Per Spotrac, Trapilo's rookie deal is worth $7,718,124 over four years. The deal includes his first two years fully guaranteed, and 72% of the third year. That equates to $5,394,004 of fully guaranteed money. Trapilo will be battling for the starting tackle job this summer at Bears camp against Braxton Jones (recovering from a fractured ankle) and Kiran Amegadjie.
