According to Top Journalists in Europe, Arsenal are very very close to complete the deal for Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP for a price of around £70 million fixed fee + add ons. He is expected to complete Medical Tests this week and sign a five-year contract at the club. A striker like Gyokeres will add goals, power and finishing ability to Arteta’s team. They believe his addition will be a major success for the club.
However, now the attention has shifted towards another world class player. Arsenal are heavily interested in Rodrygo Goes from Real Madrid. The Young Real Madrid winger from Brazil will be expected to leave the club because Madrid has depth in squad for his role. However, sources say that his price is around £100 million.
Therefore, The Gunners are in dilemma. Should they spend big again on a player? Also, they would need to sell some players from their squad to make space and get funds.

At the start of this year’s transfer Market, no club expected that Rodrygo might leave Madrid. However, after Xabi Alonso became the New Madrid Manager the situation has changed. Now there are huge chances that he may find a new club. Also, he will be happy to become the main man in attack and play at his natural left wings position. In addition to this, Real Madrid will get good funds and also they can create space in their team.
Arsenal feel they should change their transfer plans in order to sign Rodrygo. It would be interesting to see how this deal goes. Will Arsenal offer a deal around Madrid’s Valuation? Will Rodrygo accept Arsenal as his next club?
