Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders showed up at a KFC to work the drive-thru window and have some fun, but he ended up having to defend his teammate, Joe Flacco, in the process.
Sanders was taking care of customers at the drive-thru of the KFC when one fan rolled up and insulted Flacco, who is widely expected to be the team's starter to begin 2025.
"Joe Flacco ain't [expletive]," the fan said to Sanders.
"Nah, bro, Joe Flacco my mans, bro," Sanders responded.
"I like Shedeur more, though!" the fan replied.
The fan's comments got a laugh out of Shedeur, who went on to reiterate that Flacco is "my mans, though."
You can check out the video of the exchange below, but warning, it includes vulgar language.
Flacco and Sanders are involved in a four-way competition for the Browns' starting quarterback job this offseason, along with rookie Dillon Gabriel and veteran Kenny Pickett.
This is Flacco's second stint with the Browns after he played for the team in 2023, a season that saw the Super Bowl-winning quarterback revive his career and lead Cleveland to a playoff appearance.
The Browns' quarterback competition isn't officially settled yet, but the time for that to happen is approaching, as Cleveland is set to begin training camp next week.
