Confirmed: Louis Zecevic John and Khari Ranson sign professional contracts with Arsenal

Second year scholars Louis Zecevic John and Khari Ranson have signed their first professional contracts with Arsenal, as reported by the club’s official website.

Zecevic John, who can play as a striker or a winger, has featured for Arsenal U21s in pre-season.

The Serbia youth international has made 28 appearances for Arsenal at U18 level and has scored ten goals, while he has provided ten assists. He has also featured in the UEFA Youth League.

Goalkeeper Ranson joined Arsenal in 2017 and has already made six competitive appearances at U21 level as well as featuring for the U19s and the U18s.

An England U18 international who is very comfortable with the ball at his feet, Ranson was the third-choice goalkeeper for the Arsenal first-team against Bolton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup last season.

Theo Julienne and Ceadach O’Neill had already signed professional contracts from this group of scholars.

The remaining second years are: Sam Chapman, Andre Harriman-Annous, Ife Ibrahim, Alex Marciniak, Josh Ogunnaike, Sanuel Onyekachukwu and Jack Porter.
