The summer transfer window is coming to an end, and one player whowas linked to PSG at various points was Real Madrid standout Rodrygo. Despite the rumors, the Brazilian didn’t move and will likely stay in place past deadline day.
Reports on PSG’s stance toward Rodrygo havebeen mixed.Foot Mercato’s Josué Cassé said the Brazilian forward is not currently on PSG’s radar, which contradictsareport from Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg. He also noted that Tottenham Hotspurare not in the race.
Even so, Plettenberg added thatboth Liverpool and PSG are keeping tabs on Rodrygo. PSG remain keen on adding a top young winger, though any move will likely hinge on how the market develops in the coming weeks.

According toDefensa Central (h/t Fichajes), Rodrygo believes this season under Xabi Alonsogives him the chance to regain the prominence he lost last year.
The report mentions that he expects more opportunities in his preferred role on the left wing, where he feels at his besttaking on defenders, linking up with teammates, and making an impact—something he already showed in his performance against Real Oviedo.
If the competitionis handled well, Los Blancos could benefit from having two top wingers pushing each other for starting spots. But if it turns into tension, it may quickly become one of the toughest challenges the new coach faces in his first season.
