West Ham United have one of the most important transfer deadline days.
West Ham are sat bottom of the Premier League after a terrible start to the new season, with heavy defeats to Sunderland and Chelsea followed by a late collapse at Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup.
David Sullivan will be looking to amend West Ham’s previous transfer mistakes, but he has a lot of business to complete in under 36 hours before the deadline with the squad in the mess it is in.

Mateus Fernandes is the latest name through the door at the London Stadium.
MORE WEST HAM STORIES
West Ham had to beat out several Premier League sides to get Fernandes from Southampton, after Edson Alvarez departed on loan to Fenerbahce.
Fernandes is the Hammers’ seventh signing of the summer, with the main additions being El Hadji Malick Diouf and Mads Hermansen from Slavia Prague and Leicester City respectively.
Mohammed Kudus was the biggest outgoing at West Ham this summer, joining rivals Tottenham Hotspur in a £55million deal, while the likes of Michail Antonio and Lukasz Fabianski have also left the Hammers.
Outs – Emerson Palmieri, Lucas Paqueta, Graham Potter
Emerson Palmieri is on the verge of leaving West Ham for Marseille after the two clubs have agreed on a fee.
The Italian is set to leave the Hammers after a disappointing three years in East London, with Diouf usurping the left wing-back role after arriving from Slavia Prague.
Meanwhile, Lucas Paqueta is subject to an official bid from Aston Villa, which has been rejected by West Ham, with the Brazilian open to the move to Villa Park after being cleared of betting allegations.
Graham Potter‘s fate is also in the balance after West Ham’s horrid start, as a defeat at Nottingham Forest could be the fatal blow for the under-pressure Englishman.

Ins – Jose Mourinho, Charlie Cresswell, Taylor Harwood-Bellis
In terms of incomings, Jose Mourinho has emerged as a potential new boss for West Ham should Potter be given the boot.
Mourinho has parted company with Fenerbahce after failing to qualify for the Champions League, and has regularly voiced his desire to manage in England once again.

In terms of players, West Ham has made enquiries over Toulouse defender Charlie Cresswell, with an offer of £ 13 million expected to be enough to secure the deal.
Taylor Harwood-Bellis has also been linked with a move to West Ham, but it remains to be seen whether a bid is launched for the Saints centre-back.
