Jose Mourinho has been heavily linked with the West Ham job in recent days.
The iconic Portuguese boss was given his marching orders by Fenerbahce after their failure to qualify for the league phase of the Champions League last week, and now a return to the Premier League could be on the cards.
West Ham is a possible destination for Mourinho, with pressure mounting further on Graham Potter with every passing game.
The Hammers have had a disastrous start to the season, and a managerial shake-up appears to be firmly on the cards in the coming weeks.

Jose Mourinho would upset the West Ham hierarchy
Mourinho may be open to taking the West Ham job based on his previous comments, and his arrival in E20 would certainly be box office if it does ultimately come to fruition.

The 62-year-old is a spiky and abrasive character, and that could easily see sparks fly between him, David Sullivan and the rest of the Hammers’ hierarchy.
Potter has arguably been dealt a difficult hand in the transfer market this summer, as the club have found it hard to strengthen their ranks after a poor season last time out.
That is the sort of thing that Mourinho would have no qualms about pointing out publicly, and a strained relationship with an owner would certainly be nothing new for him.
Manager Games Wins Draws Losses Win %
Jose Mourinho (Fenerbahce) 62 37 14 11 59.67%
Graham Potter (West Ham) 22 5 5 12 22.72%

Tony Cascarino has revealed on talkSPORT that he feels a falling out between Mourinho and Sullivan would be inevitable if he did take on the job.
“His period at Inter was extraordinary, and I think there’s still a place for Mourinho,” the former Ireland international said.
“He would upset a few people upstairs. I don’t think West Ham fans would be too bothered if he upset the guys at the top of the club, if it produced a better team.
“I think he’s really prepared to sometimes take on people upstairs, who he thinks have to do certain things for a manager.”
The Hammers have to seize Jose Mourinho opportunity
Mourinho’s availability has handed West Ham the perfect opportunity to call time on Potter’s reign and make a switch in the dugout.
The chance to land a manager of the Portuguese’s quality and reputation simply does not come around too often, and although he may no longer be at the peak of his powers, he could be exactly what this Hammers side needs.
The former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss is a stickler for standards, and he could provide the steel and determination that is needed to haul the East Londoners out of their slump.
Potter’s dismissal has a feeling of inevitability about it, and if the Irons are to pull the trigger, then they have to do so within the next few days.
