Alonso shares that view. Since the beginning of the season, Carreras has been one of the most reliable figures in the team, proving he is ready to handle the pressure of big matches.

The former Benfica player is calm on the ball, strong in the air, and links up well with teammates in attacking phases.
This ability to combine and progress play has been a perfect fit for Alonso’s style, which demands control and fluidity in possession.
The optimism around Real Madrid is evident. The team is buying into Alonso’s vision, moving the ball with greater rhythm, and showing more authority in matches.
