Wolves crashed to another defeat in the Premier League on Saturday, and after the game Vitor Pereira again applied some pressure on his superiors.
Wolves lost 3-2 to Everton at Molineux, meaning there are still no points on the board after the first three games.
Despite a narrow scoreline in the end, Everton were clearly the better side, and the result and performance further emphasised how important it is to be productive in these final hours of the window.
Tolu Arokodare is flying in from Belgium this morning to sign for Wolves, and hopefully that one will be wrapped up with no issues.
After yesterday’s game, Vitor Pereira spoke about the current state of play – and sent a subtle message to his superiors.

It has been a very poor summer from Wolves.
The selling of key players is always a possibility at Molineux. And the exits of players like Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri were expected.
But there’s been an exodus at Wolves, and the players that have been signed – while promising – are unproven.
Pereira – who wants at least two new players before the deadline – has to have been frustrated with how things have gone, and after yesterday’s game, the Portuguese did mention that he is currently ‘suffering’ along with the supporters, in what could be a subtle message designed to prompt Fosun into action.

At Molineux yesterday in the second-half, Wolves fans could be heard chanting against Fosun and Jeff Shi, repeating ‘back the team or sell the club’.
As just 32 hours now remain to get business done, Pereira admitted yesterday evening (via E&S): “When our striker is out, we have Sasa (Kalajdzic) and he created an impact in the game, but he’s come from a long injury and can play 15 or 20 minutes.
“It means we need someone, a solution in attack and in my opinion we need a solution in midfield, because we need to put competition in our midfielders.
“I understand the supporters, but I am suffering with them. Something that puts me in a bad mood more than the result is when I don’t see my team playing in the way we are working.”
Fosun must deliver for Vitor Pereira or Wolves are down
It is a smart play for Pereira to align himself with the fans and mention he is suffering with them.
The manager used his final chance to speak in public before the window closes as an opportunity to apply a bit of pressure on Fosun, who need to deliver now.
Wolves’ squad just isn’t good enough at the moment, and it lacks leaders and quality.
If the owners don’t produce in a big way in these final 32 hours or so, then the club’s Premier League status will come under serious threat this season.
And on top of bringing in two to three new players, Wolves also must keep Strand Larsen amid interest from Newcastle.
There are no two ways about it, a relegation battle will be nailed on if Wolves’ number nine departs.
