Leeds United fans will be clamouring onto social media for updates on incoming transfers before tomorrow’s deadline, but exits need to be pushed through simultaneously too.
Just over a day remains in the summer transfer window and there’s still an expectation that Leeds will add to their squad in some capacity.

Namely, the 49ers’ newer venture Rangers are also claimed to be in talks, as are Carlos Corberan’s Valencia, with the Spaniard having worked with Meslier during the 19/20 season when Corberan was Bielsa’s first team coach.
Meslier is in the final year of his Elland Road contract and has been frozen out of the squad following his axing in April and replacement by new number one Lucas Perri.
Leeds United under pressure to find buyers for remaining players in bomb squad at Elland Road
A lot has been made of the high-profile ‘bomb squad’ at Manchester United that have been left out of plans and told to find new clubs, but Leeds need to do similar.
Joe Gelhardt, Sam Greenwood, Mateo Joseph, Largie Ramazani, Isaac Schmidt and Patrick Bamford have all managed to move on either permanently or on loan, but there’s three left that also need to get out of Elland Road to advance their careers.
Notably, Patrick Bamford who was informed at the start of pre-season that he would not be featuring in Farke’s squad for this Premier League season, but this week brought an emotional end to the striker’s time at the club through a mutual termination of his contract, freeing him to explore his options.

Lastly, there’s Darko Gyabi, who has been out on the fringes virtually ever since his £5million arrival from Manchester City.
The midfielder enjoyed 18 months of regular playing time at Plymouth Argyle in two separate loans under three managers, likely learning a lot as he strived to keep the Pilgrims in the second tier, but now awaiting clarity on where his future.
An opportunity back in the Championship may be opening up for Gyabi in the form of a loan to Hull City, who are in talks to land the midfielder after signing Gelhardt earlier in the summer:
With precious little time left this window, Leeds need to find suitors to not only avoid having two unhappy players wasting minimum six months of their career, but also to clear funds for any last-minute spending.
