Barcelona are reportedly considering a move for Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane, viewing the England captain as a potential replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
Kane, 32, has proven to be an inspired signing for Bayern, scoring 91 goals and registering 28 assists in 100 appearances for the Munich giants following his arrival from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023.
The striker has another two years left to run on his contract at Allianz Arena, but it has been suggested that he will be on the move during next summer's transfer window.
Kane is believed to have a release clause in his contract which decreases each year, and a return to the Premier League is thought to be possible next summer.
Manchester United are believed to be keeping a close eye on his situation, with Kane believed to be open to returning to England in order to chase down Alan Shearer's goalscoring record in the Premier League.

Barcelona 'could battle Man United' for Kane move in 2026
Kane is the second-highest goalscorer in the history of the Premier League with 213, with only Alan Shearer (260) ahead of him, and it is possible that he could take the record if he returns next summer.
However, according to El Nacional, Barcelona view Kane as the ideal replacement for Lewandowski, with the Poland international potentially leaving Camp Nou at the end of the 2025-26 campaign.
Lewandowski, who has just turned 37, does have the option to extend his contract for a further year until June 2027, but the indications are that he will seek pastures new after one more season with the La Liga champions.
Barcelona allegedly believe that Kane has 'several' years ahead of him despite his age, and he is viewed as the perfect player to complement Lamine Yamal and Raphinha in the final third of the field.

Kane would be a glorious signing for Barcelona
Kane has been in excellent form for Bayern at the start of this season, scoring six goals and registering two assists in four appearances, including three goals and two assists in two Bundesliga appearances.
The England captain is an exceptional goalscorer, but his ability to bring other players into the game is also brilliant, and he seems the perfect fit for Barcelona considering the movement that he would have around him.
Barcelona would not have to break the bank to sign him in 2026, and he could be the ideal replacement for Lewandowski, who may decide to end his career in Saudi Arabia or the MLS.
