As the transfer deadline day looms, Premier League clubs are in a mad dash to finalise their last-minute deals. We've already witnessed some blockbuster transfers, including Liverpool's record-breaking acquisition of Florian Wirtz and long-anticipated moves for Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko, but there's still more business to be conducted.
Recent injuries have left several clubs contemplating whether they need to re-enter the market. Chelsea's Liam Delap is expected to be sidelined for a few weeks, while Manchester United are anxiously waiting on updates regarding Matheus Cunha and Mason Mount.
Clubs in England's top flight have until 1 September to confirm any new signings. This deadline is consistent across Europe's major leagues, encompassing Spain's La Liga, Italy's Serie A and the German Bundesliga.
However, there will still be opportunities to finalise sales after this date, with the Saudi Pro League window remaining open until September 10 and the Turkish Super Lig concluding a day later. Clubs will also have the option to sign free agents outside the window, provided they were without a club by deadline day.
Teams have been cutting it fine, with Saturday's transactions featuring Newcastle's capture of Nick Woltemade and Chelsea's signing of Alejandro Garnacho. Here, we take a look at some other potential deals that could still materialise.
Piero Hincapie (Bayer Leverkusen to Arsenal)
Hincapie's move to Arsenal appears all but confirmed, likely marking the Gunners' final new signing. The deal is expected to be a loan with an option for a permanent transfer next summer - valued at around £45million.
The Ecuadorian defender will provide his new club with options at centre-back or left-back. He was an unused substitute for Erik ten Hag's Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday as they squandered a 3-1 lead to draw with 10-man Werder Bremen.
Hincapie's arrival in North London is set to coincide with Jakub Kiwior's departure. The Polish international is poised to join Porto on loan, with a commitment to make the move to the Dragao permanent next summer.

Rasmus Hojlund (Manchester United to Napoli)
With the sale of Garnacho on Saturday, Manchester United put an end to one of this summer's major transfer stories. More could follow, with Real Betis' stand-off over Antony continuing, while Hojlund's switch to Napoli is nearing completion.
Danish striker Hojlund has been pushed out by the arrival of Sesko, and it's clear he isn't part of Ruben Amorim's first-team plans. AC Milan were linked earlier in the window, but Napoli now look set to secure his signature and offer him Champions League football.
The reigning Serie A champions will bring Hojlund in on loan, with a requirement to buy at the end of the season. He arrived in Italy over the weekend with an announcement appearing imminent.
Senne Lammens (Royal Antwerp to Manchester United)
United's primary focus, after bolstering their attacking line-up before the season's commencement, is to recruit a new goalkeeper. Altay Bayindir has been the starting choice in the league, with Andre Onana taking up the role in the Carabao Cup, but neither has truly impressed.
Belgian stopper Senne Lammens and Aston Villa's star Emi Martinez seem to be the top choices. If Premier League experience is the main criterion, Martinez would be the preferred option, while Lammens represents a younger prospect with great potential.
Galatasaray have also shown interest in Lammens, who has been absent from Antwerp's last two league games. However, the Turkish club might end up signing Ederson from Manchester City.
Alexander Isak (Newcastle United to Liverpool)
The major transfer saga of the window, involving Isak, is reportedly nearing completion. Newcastle have broken their transfer record with Nick Woltemade's £65m signing from Stuttgart, but they may still require another forward before letting Isak depart.
Swedish star Isak was missing again on Saturday, while Woltemade observed from the stands at Leeds. Another goalless game highlighted Newcastle's need for additional firepower, but it seems unlikely that Isak will be part of their plans.

Last season's top scorer has made it clear he believes his future is elsewhere than St James' Park. A record-breaking bid from Liverpool - exceeding the £120m including add-ons which Newcastle rejected earlier in the window - could still seal the deal.
Yoane Wissa (Brentford to Newcastle United)
Isak made his intentions clear earlier in the transfer window with a striking social media declaration, and now Wissa has followed suit.
Newcastle have been pursuing the Brentford forward, and he seemingly believes acceptable bids have already been tabled.
"I received a formal offer from another Premier League club and communicated I wanted to join. I was under the impression, from all my conversations with Brentford, that there was a mutual agreement to part ways," Wissa posted on Instagram.
"Yet as the window comes to an end, the club has now significantly changed its position, going against what was communicated. This has left me in a difficult and frustrating position. The promise that I could leave this summer has not been fulfilled. It saddens me to have to write that, and I maintain total respect for the club and its fans."
Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace to Liverpool)
Beyond the Isak transfer, Liverpool have business to complete in defence.
Giovanni Leoni has arrived from Parma, but Crystal Palace skipper Guehi would bring a degree of experience that the young Italian currently lacks.
Guehi featured for the full 90 minutes in European competition on Thursday as Palace continue deploying the England defender as usual whilst awaiting a resolution.
Eagles manager Oliver Glasner has discussed the difficulty of securing a replacement, despite links with Manuel Akanji, but Guehi's contractual circumstances could still compel the London outfit's decision, with his deal up at the end of the season.
"From my side, he has to [still be a Crystal Palace player] because it's not possible at the moment to find a Marc Gueehi replacement who can play straight in the Premier League, being a starter, being consistent," Glasner said.
"When we see our foundation of success in the last few months, it's our defence ... Marc is a crucial part. Getting the right replacement in now is almost impossible."
Nicolas Jackson (Chelsea to Bayern Munich)
Jackson had been poised to complete a loan switch to Bayern and even travelled to Germany for the move.
However, an injury to Delap has thrown the striker's Chelsea departure into doubt, despite objections from his representative, Diomansy Kamara.
The Senegal international, who hasn't appeared for Chelsea this campaign, remains eager for a switch to the Bundesliga.
A loan deal with an obligation to buy or an outright transfer - rather than the previously agreed loan with an option - could still see the move materialised.
Should Chelsea proceed with Jackson's departure, Delap's fitness concern is anticipated to push them into pursuing a new frontman.
Conrad Harder has emerged as one potential target, having recorded a goal or assist every 92 minutes last term whilst deputising for Viktor Gyokeres at Sporting CP.
