Leeds United fans' favourite Stuart Dallas says the 49ers need to find suitable fresh players to aid the team's attack to give Daniel Farke what he needs this season. Leeds are running out of time to add to their squad with the transfer window set to close Monday evening at 7pm.
The Whites have made 10 signings this summer and spent over £100m in the process of evolving the side that won the Championship last season. While that is the case, the squad is still missing a threat up top and Dallas will no doubt share the same opinion as the majority of supporters leaving Elland Road after the 0-0 draw with Newcastle United that Leeds need more firepower up top.
Speaking after the match with Newcastle, Dallas said: " I know first hand the club are working tirelessly to get deals over the line. But they definitely need something at the top end of the pitch.
“The manager alluded to it a few weeks ago that, if they can get to the first international break and see where they are, obviously the window will be slammed shut, and it must be frustrating for managers as well.
“But, yeah, certainly Leeds need extra bodies in them forward positions.
“I think Calvert-Lewin is a great signing for Leeds. I think, if they can keep him fit, he’s a huge asset to them. They’ve signed a couple of other players that need time to adjust to the league itself."
Leeds continue to push to get at least one more deal over the line on transfer deadline day.
