Another Man United forward completes loan move ahead of deadline day

Manchester United are working tirelessly behind the scenes to secure the right loan moves for their next generation of stars.

They have officially confirmed the loan move of highly-rated forward Ethan Williams to Scottish side Falkirk.

Before completing his loan move, Williams put pen to paper on fresh terms with United that run until 2028, with the option of a further year.

Falkirk are currently struggling in 11th position in the Scottish Premiership, and recruiting Williams will add more firepower to their attack.

The United academy graduate spent time on loan at Cheltenham Town last season, netting two goals and two assists in 17 League Two appearances.

The 19-year-old has an eye for goal and showed his quality in the pre-season tour to the United States.

He scored his first senior United goal in the 4-1 victory over Bournemouth in Chicago.

Now at Falkirk, Williams will be determined to light up the campaign and force his way into manager Ruben Amorim’s thoughts for a first-team breakthrough next season.

Williams is predominantly a left-winger but is capable of playing across the front line.

Fellow academy stars Harry Amass and Ethan Ennis are also expected to secure temporary transfers in the coming hours.

Both were absent from the United Under-21 clash with Manchester City today, fuelling speculation about their imminent moves.

Ethan Wheatley, Joe Hugill and Enzo Kana-Biyik are the other three young forwards who have already completed their respective loan moves this summer.

Overseeing these transitions is Jonny Evans, United’s Head of Loans and Pathways.

He faces a hectic deadline to ensure the club’s brightest prospects gain valuable first-team experience elsewhere.
