Manchester City faced off against Brighton and Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a win on the road in the Premier League. The Mancunian giants made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 34th minute when Erling Haaland scored from close range. Pep Guardiola’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
James Milner came off the bench and equalised for Brighton in the 67th minute. Brajan Gruda completed the turnaround late in the game as Man City crashed to a poor 2-1 loss away from home.

He caught the eye at times on both halves.
**CM: Bernardo Silva – 6/10**
Silva worked hard defensively but offered very little in the opponent’s half.
**CM: Rodri – 6.5/10**
The Spaniard put in a good shift today, but it was far from his best.

He managed to shine at times in the Brighton half, but there was no goal for him.
**RW: Oscar Bobb – 6.5/10**
Bobb made two promising runs with the ball but lacked quality in the final third.

He was not shy of having a strike at goal and managed to score the opener in the 34th minute.

Marmoush was a constant menace in the final third and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
