It’s a huge 24 hours or so for Wolves, and the club have been linked with a late swoop for Josh Brownhill.
Alarm bells are already ringing at Molineux, with Vitor Pereira already overseeing three straight defeats in the Premier League.
Wolves are the only side in the division without a point now, and fans are in no doubt that a relegation battle looms.
Wolves are set to sign Tolu Arokodare though, with the Nigerian striker having flown to England on Sunday morning to finalise his move.
And this morning, Wolves were said to be in talks with Brownhill, who is a player who’s long been admired at Molineux.
And now, Molineux News can share a brief update on what the player is currently thinking.

Time is of the essence for Wolves.
Some feel that regardless of what the club do in the next 24 hours or so, the season will be a struggle. But Wolves simply have to get a few new faces through the door.
Arokodare should sign, but it remains to be seen at the moment if the move for Brownhill will progress.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
Wolves are in talks with the player which is positive, but Molineux News’ transfer expert Graeme Bailey has warned that Brownhill may not make a decision too quickly, amid competition from several other clubs.
He told us: “Brownhill is not in a real hurry. Obviously he can move after Monday (being a free agent).
“Wolves are one of a few in for him.”
One club who’ve been linked with Brownhill are Al-Shabab (via Burnley Express) who, of course, are Pereira’s old club. Apparently, they have offered Brownhill wages ‘in advance of £100,000 per week’. It is highly unlikely Wolves would match such an offer.
Wolves move for Brownhill makes sense
Given his status as a free agent, it is understandable that Brownhill isn’t in a particular hurry to decide on his next club.
As multiple clubs are showing interest, he has options and he’ll be carefully deciding which project is best for him. The lucrative wages an offer to play in Saudi are bound to be a temptation, but Brownhill may also be looking to play in the Premier League.
It’s not ideal for Wolves that the player will take his time. Wanderers need to rapidly determine if a deal is possible, so they can leave themselves time to potentially buy an alternative before the window shuts if Brownhill isn’t keen.
Wolves fans have backed a move for Brownhill and just need him in as quickly as possible at this point.
We know he’s a midfielder capable of providing goals, having scored 18 last term. And he’s also someone who offers versatility and leadership.
