Benjamin Sesko is yet to score for Manchester United but a prediction he made shortly after his move has already come true.
After a poor start to the season piled on pressure, Manchester United beat Burnley 3-2 to at least head into the international break in a positive mood.
United made hard work of the Burnley win, but eventually the three points were secured by an injury time penalty scored by club captain Bruno Fernandes.
Fernandes stepped up for Ruben Amorim in his time of need, and it certainly isn’t the first time the Portuguese playmaker has delivered in important moments.
To new signing Benjamin Sesko, it wasn’t even a surprise.

Benjamin Sesko knew Bruno Fernandes would step up
Despite failing to score, Sesko showed glimpses of brilliance against Burnley, and it is only a matter of time until he gets off the mark for United.
In a recent interview with Premier League media, Sesko was asked ‘Who is the most likely to score when it matters most?’. His answer? Fernandes.

It didn’t take long for Sesko’s prediction to come true. Fernandes stepped up under huge pressure in the final moments of a Premier League match to secure the first win of the season.
To add to the pressure, Fernandes missed a penalty against Fulham a week earlier, but he still stepped up and took responsibility.
Benjamin Sesko is getting up to speed at Man United
Sesko has only started one match at United since completing a £66 million move to United, and while that may be a surprise to a few, Amorim has explained why.
With no pre-season minutes over the summer, Sesko was struggling with cramp and is still nowhere near full fitness.
It explains why Joshua Zirkzee came on to replace the injured Matheus Cunha against Burnley, but Sesko did add to his minutes in the second half.

After the international break, United should see the best from their new striker, and with both Cunha and Mason Mount struggling with injury, he will likely find his name on the starting lineup.
Up next for United is Premier League matches against Manchester City and Chelsea, and there would be no better time for Sesko to open his goalscoring account for the Red Devils.
