Greece guard compares Giannis Antetokounmpo to a train

After the win against Georgia, Tyler Dorsey compared Giannis Antetokounmpo to a train, highlighting his unstoppable power and the way he draws defenders to create opportunities for teammates.

Greece guard Tyler Dorsey praised the unstoppable power of Giannis Antetokounmpo after the team’s dominant 94–53 win over Georgia at EuroBasket 2025, comparing the Milwaukee Bucks star to a train barreling down the court.

“Basketball is simple. As for Giannis… what can I say? He’s strong. When he comes at you, it’s like a train coming at you. He draws three defenders and makes it easy for the others.”

Giannis led Greece with 27 points (8/10 2PT, 1/1 3PT, 8/13 FT), grabbed 8 rebounds, and dished out 4 assists, controlling the game from start to finish.

Dorsey added that improving on rebounds would also boost the team offensively, and praised Greece’s shooting approach.

“We were very focused, we had the energy to pay attention to the details, and that’s why we showed progress and made our shots on offense today. I think our defense is solid. Rebounding is something we can improve on,” Dorsey said.

“Our shooting is good, and we need to keep going with confidence and the mindset to not hesitate when we have a good shot. We have to keep taking our shots,” he said.

With this win, Greece now has a 3-0 record in Group C and is nearly guaranteed a spot in the Round of 16, with two games remaining against Bosnia and Spain.
