The transfer deadline is fast approaching, and Nottingham Forest will have plenty to do.
The Tricky Trees are still looking for players to add to Nuno Espirito Santo’s side as they prepare for Europa League action.
However, it is not just incomings expected at the City Ground as multiple outgoings are looking to be completed as well.
Nuno has already said he does not want too big a squad, and efforts to trim down the first-team will take place with six players expected to leave.

Jota Silva expected to leave, and Taiwo Awoniyi could also depart before transfer deadline
With all of Nottingham Forest’s new signings, two of last season’s core squad players have fallen out of favour at the City Ground.
Jota Silva and Taiwo Awoniyi were both left out of the matchday squad against West Ham, and the future of the pair hangs in the balance.
Sky Sports’ reporter Anton Toloui provided an update ahead of the deadline, saying ‘Jota Silva and Taiwo Awoniyi are not included in the matchday squad against West Ham, with Silva in talks with two clubs about a move away.’

At the moment, it is not clear if Taiwo Awoniyi is seeking a move, but with the arrival of Arnaud Kalimuendo, and Igor Jesus, he can expect limited minutes this season.

It is increasingly likely the Nigerian seeks a move away, especially in a year that includes both an AFCON, and a World Cup.
Omar Richards, Josh Bowler, Eric da Silva Moreira and Zach Abbott also on the market
Four more Nottingham Forest players are also expected to leave.
Omar Richards, Josh Bowler, Eric da Silva Moreira, and Zach Abbott are in the shop window, with either loan moves or permanent deals likely for the quartet.
Report from Anton Toloui states ‘Omar Richards, Josh Bowler, Eric da Silva Moreira and Zach Abbott are also expected to leave either temporarily or permanently.’
Nottingham Forest have just signed Nicolo Savona, blocking the path to the first team for Moreira.
Whereas the Garibaldi are linked with a move for left-back Cuiabano, meaning Richards would also drop down the pecking order.
