Adam Wharton could withdraw from the England squad after picking up a groin injury at Aston Villa.
The 21-year-old pulled up in the 55th minute in Sunday’s 3-0 win at Villa Park, after blocking a long-range effort from Youri Tielemans.
He battled on for over a minute while Palace were under the cosh and eventually went down once Daniel Munoz slid the ball out of play.
Wharton, who was called up to the England squad on Friday for the first time since Thomas Tuchel took charge, went straight down the tunnel – but managed a smile to someone in the crowd.
England kick off September’s international break against Andorra at Villa Park next Saturday, but Glasner revealed the midfielder will not be able to report for international duty.
"We had to pay the bill today with two muscle injuries," said Glasner.
"Adam Wharton with his adductor. Ismaila Sarr with his hamstring.
"Hopefully, it is not too serious. We will make scans tomorrow so they can't go to their national teams."
