All-conquering Liverpool have got their man.
Leading football news breaker Fabrizio Romano reported on Monday (AEST) that the Premier League champions had agreed to a $268m transfer fee with Newcastle United to acquire the services of their star striker Alexander Isak.
Romano reported that the Sweden international was on his way to Liverpool for medical tests to finalise what will be a record Premier League deal.

Isak was the second-leading goal scorer in the league last season, behind Liverpool's Mohamed Salah.
The 25-year-old boosts an already formidable strike force after Liverpool beat Arsenal 1-0 on Monday (AEST) to become the only unbeaten team in the competition after three games.
Isak has not played for Newcastle this season as his relationship with the club turned sour.
