MANAGER Will Still has warned clubs that Taylor Harwood-Bellis is not for sale, with West Ham reportedly showing late interest in the defender.

The Hammers have been linked with a move for the one-cap England international in the event that Sunderland-linked Nayef Aguerd moves north.

Graham Potter's side, who started the weekend bottom of the Premier League, have already signed Mateus Fernandes and former Saints defender Kyle Walker-Peters.

Asked if Harwood-Bellis could leave before the deadline at 7pm this evening, Still said: "They want another one of our players?

"I don't think Taylor was ever for sale, to be honest. I love West Ham, but \[they can\] stay off him."

Harwood-Bellis has started the last three Championship games for Saints, after recovering from an ankle injury over the summer, and scored against Stoke.

The 23 year old signed a four-year contract with the club last summer after the buy option in his loan contract was triggered by promotion.

He made 34 appearances in the Premier League as Saints were relegated back to the second division with just 12 points.
