Having lost three from three at the start of the 2025/26 Premier League season, Wolves are in dire need of some reinforcements on deadline day.
The Midlands club ended last season on a high by remarkably staving off relegation, however a summer of immense change at Molineux has hindered their early season form this time out.
Wolves have, rather worryingly, sold a whole host of star players during the summer transfer window. Star forward Matheus Cunha was sold to Manchester United for £62.5m, Rayan Ait-Nouri joined Manchester City for £36m, and club captain Nelson Semedo was allowed to leave as a free agent too.
And while Vitor Pereira has tried to rebuild with a number of clever signings, it’s clear that there’s a need for a few more before the window shuts at 7pm on Monday 1st September.
Here are some deals that could be done on deadline day.
Josh Brownhill
A late deal for Josh Brownhill seems the most likely bit of business Wolves will complete on 1st September.

Having recently left Burnley as a free agent, Wolves have entered talks with Brownhill in the final few days of the window but face competition from Saudi side Al-Shabab.
Despite the talks opening late in the window, Brownhill has been a long-term target for Pereira’s side. Wolves were heavily linked with a move to Brownhill in January, but a move failed to materialise at that time.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
This time, it looks more likely that a deal will be completed.
Hayden Hackney
Another English midfielder who has been linked with a move to Wolves of late has been Middlesbrough’s Hayden Hackney.
The 23-year-old is a much younger option than Brownhill, but conflicting reports around Wolves tabling a £30m bid suggest that he’ll be a much more expensive option too.
Unfortunately for Wolves, Middlesbrough have made it clear that Hackney is currently not for sale, but things can change quickly on deadline day.
Nicolas Raskin
It’s clear that Wolves are making a midfield signing the priority for deadline day, and another option to fill that need is Nicolas Raskin.

Rangers have reportedly opened the door to allow Raskin to leave the Scottish giants this summer, with Wolves and fellow Premier League outfit Crystal Palace holding an interest.
Thanks to the Gers being open to a loan move with an obligation to buy, this would certainly be a cost-effective deal for Wolves if they can make it happen.
Jorgen Strand Larsen
While fans will be keen to see some new faces come through the doors at Molineux, Jorgen Strand Larsen’s future will undoubtedly be the main talking point of the day.
Newcastle United have held an interest in Strand Larsen for a number of weeks, and are reportedly ‘still trying’ to sign the striker heading into the final day of the transfer window. Wolves have already rejected two bids from Newcastle for Strand Larsen, with a third bid expected soon.
Although Jeff Shi is said to have told Strand Larsen that he’s going nowhere, the striker’s absence from Wolves’ matchday squad against Everton on Saturday will certainly cause concern among the fanbase.
