Newcastle United could be in for a hectic deadline day. Eddie Howe's side have endured a difficult start to the Premier League season, having failed to win any of their first three matches.
Despite spending in excess of £200 million on five players, including Nick Woltemade, the Magpies might still be tempted to dip into the transfer market and make one final addition before Monday's 7pm deadline.
Woltemade, Anthony Elanga, Malick Thiaw, Jacob Ramsey and Aaron Ramsdale have come through the doors this summer, but it does feel as though Newcastle are still one light up front, should Alexander Isak leave.
Isak's future is still uncertain and there could be one final attempt from Liverpool to try and sign him before the transfer window closes, with the Reds so far making one bid - believed to be £110m - for the Swede.
With this in mind, ChronicleLive has taken a look at the latest Newcastle transfer news...
Isak twist
According to The Telegraph, Newcastle will give serious consideration to letting Isak sign for Liverpool if they receive a bid of £130m. Isak, 25, is determined to force through a move to Anfield before Monday's 7pm deadline.
The Sweden international is adamant he has played his final game for Newcastle, having not featured in any of his side's first three Premier League matches, including Saturday's goalless draw against Leeds United.
Newcastle have been insistent throughout the summer that Isak is NOT for sale, despite his plea to leave the club. However, the Magpies might be about to change their tune, less than 24 hours before the transfer deadline.
ChronicleLive says : I think it would be best for all parties to sell Isak to Liverpool for £130m, so long as Newcastle can find a replacement. Yes, Woltemade has signed, but the Magpies have been searching for TWO new strikers, having lost Callum Wilson at the end of his contract earlier this summer.
For me, due to Woltemade's profile, I would target Yoane Wissa and attempt to sign him from Brentford before the transfer window closes. Should Newcastle sell Isak for £130m and sign Wissa for around £50m then I think that would represent a good piece of business from the Magpies.

Vinicius Jr claim
Vincius Jr and Newcastle United were not two things many would have expected to see in the same sentence a Sunday - but here we are. That is the case because Spanish media outlet Defensa Central has claimed the Magpies as an interested party in the Real Madrid star for 2026.
It has been claimed Real are prepared to request £155.9m (€180m) if he does not sign a contract extension beyond 2027. The Brazilian starred and scored during Real's 2-1 win against Mallorca on Saturday.
ChronicleLive says This would be quite the move if Newcastle made a move for Vinicius. At this moment in time, the Magpies don't need to sign a winger, but should Anthony Gordon or Harvey Barnes move on, a switch to sign Vinicius could be feasible - and I would not put it past them to make a bid.
Newcastle's ownership are ambitious and there is a genuine hope for them to reach the very top of English football, despite the Isak saga this summer. Bringing in players such as Vinicius would be some ambition.
