The striking striker will have his medical today and then complete the deal.

_The Sweden international is due to travel to Merseyside on Monday for a medical but a full agreement is now in place to conclude the transfer saga of the summer._
_Telegraph Sport revealed that majority stakeholders Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund were, for the first time, willing to cash in on their star player as long as the money was good enough._
_The talks, which had been conducted amicably between PIF and Liverpool’s owners over the weekend, have led to the reigning Premier League champions agreeing to Newcastle’s demands.’_
