Real Betis have reached an agreement with Manchester United to sign Antony on a permanent deal, journalist David Ornstein has revealed.
The £200,000-a-week Brazilian forward is set to rejoin the La Liga side on deadline day in a reported €25m (£21m) move, with the agreement including a 50% sell-on clause.
Antony spent the second half of last season on loan at Betis, scoring nine goals and providing five assists in 26 appearances across all competitions.

Ornstein, writing on X, revealed that Man United and Real Betis have reached an agreement for Antony’s permanent move on deadline day, despite the Spanish club initially wanting a loan:
Betis have sought to bring Antony back to the club all summer, following his promising spell last season, when he helped Manuel Pellegrini’s side reach the Conference League final.
The 25-year-old, who signed for United in August 2023 from Ajax for £85m, made 96 appearances during his time at Old Trafford, scoring 12 goals and providing five assists.
He has two years remaining on his £6m-a-year contract at United, and Ornstein claims Antony is asking the clubs to ensure he receives the €4m he would forfeit by taking a wage cut at Real Betis.
