Hurzeler drops Brighton transfer hint amid Chelsea's interest in Buonanotte & Enciso

This summer, Albion have added striker Charalampos Kostoulas, left-back Maxim De Cuyper, winger Tom Watson, and centre-backs Olivier Boscagli and Diego Coppola to their first-team squad.

Forward Stefanos Tzimas linked up with Hurzeler's team in pre-season as well, while 16 players have either left the club permanently or gone out on loan.

Ahead of the window shutting at 7pm on Monday, uncertainty continues over the futures of Tariq Lamptey, Jeremy Sarmiento, Facundo Buonanotte, and Julio Enciso.

Hurzeler gave little away but did not suggest there would be wholesale changes to his team in the next 24 hours.

He told reporters after Albion's 2-1 win over Manchester City on Sunday: "I always emphasise that I'm very happy with my squad. I think there are still some things ongoing.

"I don't think crazy things will happen from our side, but let's see what happens in the next hours, and then we'll see more."

Albion's biggest exits this summer have been Joao Pedro to Chelsea, Simon Adingra to Sunderland, and Pervis Estupinan to AC Milan.

Meanwhile, Valentin Barco has signed for Strasbourg, Abdallah Sima joined Lens, and Adrian Mazilu has just been recruited by Dinamo Bucharest, among other departures.

Buonanotte and Enciso have both been linked with moves to BlueCo-owned teams Chelsea and Strasbourg.

It appears the former could join Chelsea on loan, and the latter may head to the French team before switching to Stamford Bridge in 2026.
