Manchester United’s deadline day was expected to be frantic and it is panning out that way, with Andre Onana the latest to come into focus.
A day that started with an agreement for Antony with Real Betis, and Emi Martinez making his move, could ramp up with Andre Onana.
If (when) Man Utd sign a goalkeeper, they will have four in their ranks, which is not ideal for a club trying to cut costs on wages.
United in Focus understands that Onana is the player who could leave the club after recent talks, with Man City playing a role in the deal.

Andre Onana transfer latest
Nobody expected Andre Onana to be the Man Utd goalkeeper closest to an exit when this season began, but his stock has fallen quickly.
Onana was set to be in his judgement season this year, borne out of United not being able to splash on a new goalkeeper.
However, he got injured to start the season and had a nightmare performance on his first start of the season against Grimsby.
Once Altay Bayindir was recalled for the game against Burnley, the writing seemed to be on the wall for Onana, and Man City can bring the domino down to make it happen.
More United News
United in Focus understands, after speaking to transfer insider Graeme Bailey, that talks have taken place with Galatasaray and his people. Galatasaray have missed out on Ederson to arch rivals Fenerbahce.
They are also talking to Donnarumma’s people, but Man City are trying to do that deal. Other options being looked at and Onana is now one of them.
Onana’s move can happen after deadline day
A big benefit United will have from this transfer update is that the Turkish transfer window doesn’t close with the Premier League’s.
Thus, United can take their time to assess their options and finances before deciding to sanction a sale to a Turkish club.
Bayindir might fancy a return to his homeland, but he’s on lower wages than Onana and has somehow proven to be the less bad option of the two.
It leaves Onana looking in from the outside, and even though a permanent move away looks difficult, even a loan would be a lift for United if Galatasaray cover his wages.
