Transfers Leeds United could complete on deadline day, from Dilane Bakwa to a familiar face

Leeds United’s transfer window has seen plenty of talent arrive at Elland Road, some names moving to new clubs and some big deals being missed.

Leeds have spent £100 million on new players, and despite this huge total they’re still lacking a skilled, creative finisher at the top of the pitch.

Daniel Farke has made clear he wants a player who is versatile at the very least, and since then, Farke has publicly doubled down on Leeds needing attackers to the 49ers.

He has made it clear that he believes Leeds need at least two more attacking reinforcements if they are to avoid immediate relegation back to the Championship.

LeedsUnited.News now looks at some potential incoming and outgoing transfers before the window closes on Monday evening.

Manor Solomon is still on Leeds United’s radar

LeedsUnited.News understands that Solomon remains an option with Tottenham willing to sell the former Fulham man for £20m. Now, there is a new report regarding Solomon, and it includes a few surprises.

Israeli outlet ONE say that Aston Villa considered a move for Solomon, but a move did not materialise. Elsewhere, there were talks with Ligue 1 side Lyon, but Solomon’s stance scuppered a move to France.

Indeed, Solomon wants to remain in the Premier League and that hands Leeds a fighting chance. However, Nottingham Forest have also shown interest in Solomon.

Leeds United still hopeful they can land Dilane Bakwa

Leeds were stepping up their efforts to bring in Bakwa from RC Strasbourg last weekend. However, Forest then made a £30 million Bakwa bid. That latest update could mean Leeds have been outbid in their efforts.

Fulham have ‘advanced talks’ for Bakwa in recent days, with Bakwa revealing his last game for Strasbourg had been played recently. The 23-year-old is set for a departure before tomorrow’s deadline, with Leeds, Fulham and Nottingham Forest all keen.

Sacha Tavolieri has revealed Bakwa will not be joining Forest because they have decided to focus on Dodi Lukebakio. He is considered a concrete target for the right wing, the sort of attacking reinforcement Farke would welcome.
