Journalist David Ornstein has also reported that PSG expect Gianluigi Donnarumma to complete a deadline day switch to Manchester City.

However, Ederson will only be allowed to join Fenerbahce once the Italian’s move to City is sealed.

Pep Guardiola has already revealed how he feels about Gianluigi Donnarumma

Pep Guardiola praised Donnarumma when he was just 18, which bodes well for Manchester City fans.

“Donnarumma is a top, top goalkeeper, definitely. He’s big. He has huge skill for 18 years old.”

“It would depend on him and his teammates whether he played well [in the Premier League] or not but good players can play anywhere.”

The question remains how Donnarumma would fit into Manchester City’s system, given that he is a traditional shot-stopper rather than a world-class ball-playing goalkeeper like Ederson.
