Fulham have been pursuing a deal for AC Milan’s Samuel Chukwueze this summer.
Last week, journalist Orazio Accomando reported the Premier League club have agreed a fee with the Rossoneri, but the two clubs are yet to negotiate the transfer formula.
Gianluca Di Marzio provides the latest on Fulham’s ongoing pursuit of the winger on deadline day.
He says the Nigeria international is ‘increasingly closer’ to joining Marco Silva’s side as the two clubs are edging closer to finalising the terms of a loan move.
Fulham have found an agreement with the Serie A club if Calciomercato journalist Daniele Longo is to be believed.
He took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report the 26-year-old is already in London to complete Fulham move. The journalist adds he will undergo medical tests with the English club on Monday.
In another post on X, Longo provides additional details of the agreement between the two clubs.
He reports Fulham have a purchase option, which will be converted into an obligation if certain set conditions are met. Longo hasn’t explained those conditions and adds that the overall package [likely including loan fee] is around €25m.
Chukwueze is all set to join the London club on deadline day.
