**The transfer of the summer looks finally set to go through as Alexander Isak shows that being a petulant little child can yield positive results.**
Liverpool and Newcastle United have reportedly agreed on a £125 million fee, and the Sweden striker is heading to Merseyside to complete his medical today ahead of the move.
Isak has been on strike all summer trying to force this move, and while Newcastle have publicly tried to resist, the fact is that the Magpies have been searching for a replacement since the window opened.
The deal always seemed inevitable, and in truth, Isak has been so toxic this summer that it felt like there was no way back for him at Newcastle, even if this move didn't go through.

The big news broke at midnight last night
-----------------------------------------
The news broke around midnight last night that the fee had been agreed and that Isak would travel to Liverpool today.
Once again, the Magpies and the Reds break the British transfer record after Liverpool broke it to sign Andy Carroll from Newcastle, and now again with Isak.
Eddie Howe brought in Nick Woltemade, who will be Isak's successor, but Newcastle still need another striker before the window slams shut at 7pm today.
Yes, we're bitter and petty, so what?
-------------------------------------
Newcastle are still working on potential targets, with Yoane Wissa and Jorgen Strand Larsen still in the frame, but there could be a shock before the end of the day, too. That's how we roll.
We're honestly just glad that there will finally be a line drawn under this saga. We will say that Isak is very lucky that Liverpool's St James' Park fixture has been and gone because that would have been a cauldron!
At this point, we just want him gone so we can move on, but ... wouldn't it be funny if he failed his medical or Liverpool didn't get the paperwork filed in time?
